Beck Newton
Beck is a registered nurse, diabetes educator and dietitian, Beck brings over two decades of experience supporting people with type 1. She’ll break down how different types of exercise affect blood glucose levels, and share practical, evidence-based strategies to help you exercise with confidence, no matter your fitness goals.
Duncan Read
Duncan founded #fitterforhavingit to challenge misconceptions about diabetes. Duncan has lived with type 1 diabetes for almost 40 years. He challenges negative stereotypes, by competing in endurance races and ultra marathons to prove you can be fitter for having faced the challenges of living with a chronic condition.
